I-8 and I-10/Hidden Valley Roadway Framework Study The Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) is conducting an area transportation framework study for the Interstates 8 and 10/Hidden Valley Roadway and the Southwest Maricopa/Western Pinal County, Arizona region. The study area is bounded by the Gila River/northern boundary of the Gila River Indian Community to the north, Interstate 8 corridor to the south, Overfield Road to the east, and 459th Avenue to the west. This study area includes parts of the City of Avondale, the City of Goodyear, the Town of Buckeye, the Town of Gila Bend, the City of Maricopa, the City of Casa Grande, the City of Eloy, the City of Coolidge, the Gila River Indian Community, the Ak-Chin Indian Community, the Tohono O’odham Nation, and unincorporated portions of Maricopa and Pinal Counties. This Study will develop a transportation framework for the study area that will ultimately be implemented at multiple jurisdictional levels.
