MAG COMMITTEE Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee The Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee consists of representatives of MAG member agencies, as well as the development, architecture, landscape architecture communities, Valley Metro and the Coalition of Arizona Bicyclists.  The committee annually reviews and updates the MAG Pedestrian Plan and recommends projects for funding under the Pedestrian Design Assistance Program.  Earlier versions of the committee developed a Regional Bicycle Plan, the Regional Off-Street System (ROSS) Plan, and the Regional Bikeways Map.  The committee encourages the implementation of these plans by recommending pedestrian and bicycle-related projects for funding from federal and other sources as well as activities to inform the region about the benefits of biking and walking.
